I work with a lot of people who don't want their businesses known and I can understand that because I have wondered if I should talk about my own.

The marketing business can be cut throat and I've heard horror stories and have experienced a few of my own.

Check back here in the near future for a synopsis of ongoing and finished projects.

Don't Be Apart of the Big-Oops Crowd:

There is one thing I hear all the time that is completely and utterly false.  I hear experts who teach people how to market their own services and products tell clients and customers they should not hire a copywriter because they are learning or can learn what copywriters know.

The truth is that something is better than nothing when it comes to marketing. And if hiring a copywriter is something you don't want to do, then that's fine. 

But most people completely butcher their own copywriting. This is one big thing I noticed while apprenticing under Dan Kennedy. The people who sent in for critiques, their pieces were 8 times out of 10 times pretty dismal.

As a business owner or entrepreneur, it doesn't matter which you are, you find out what you are good at and stick with it.  Find out where your time is best spent and out source the work. Your business depends on this action alone.

And always work with and seek the guidance of people who know more then you do...like your life depended on it.
